The Declutter Calendar
A tiny, kind quest behind every door. Open one a day — or whenever you like.
No locked doors, no missed days, no catching up. Pick a season, tap a door, and do (or happily skip) the little quest inside.
Every door opens whenever you're ready.
Tap any door to reveal its quest. They stay open between visits — this little calendar remembers.

The Declutter Calendar · December Calm-down
A pre-holiday advent: make room for the season, one tiny door at a time.
One tiny quest per door, in any order, on any day. Rest doors are marked — they’re gifts, not tasks.
- 1. Clear one surface where holiday chaos lands — the counter, the hall table. You know the one.
- 2. Recycle five catalogs, flyers, or expired coupons. The mail pile just got lighter.
- 3. Pick three mugs your cupboard won't miss. Someone else's cocoa needs them.
- 4. Untangle one strand of lights — just one — and coil it like you mean it.
- 5. Open the wrapping stash: keep the lovely, recycle the crumpled.
- 6. Make something warm to drink and admire what you've already cleared. That's the whole quest. (rest door)
- 7. Find three decorations you've stopped loving and let them sparkle somewhere new.
- 8. Clear one fridge shelf of mystery jars before the feast moves in.
- 9. Choose one toy or game to pass along before the new ones arrive.
- 10. Free three hangers in the coat closet. Winter guests come bearing coats.
- 11. Sort the card-writing supplies: this year's stamps stay, the dried-out glitter pen may retire.
- 12. Sit somewhere you've decluttered. Notice the room. Stay five minutes. (rest door)
- 13. Release one kitchen gadget you never reach for. It deserves a busier kitchen.
- 14. Clear a countertop corner for the baking storm ahead.
- 15. Empty one basket or bowl that's become a catch-all. Walk its contents home.
- 16. That gift you never quite liked? Permission granted: re-home it, guilt-free.
- 17. Make a landing zone by the door for boots, mittens, and snow-dusted things.
- 18. Freezer archaeology: cook one forgotten thing for dinner tonight.
- 19. Lights on, kettle on, feet up. Rest is part of the season too. (rest door)
- 20. Pantry sweep: pull three unexpired things for the food drive.
- 21. Delete ten blurry photos from your phone. Keep the keepers.
- 22. Flatten and recycle the empty boxes hiding in corners and closets.
- 23. Set out the serving dishes you'll actually use; tuck the understudies away.
- 24. You made room for the season. Light a candle, look around, breathe. (rest door)
